Why Do Parents Choose IGCSE?

One of the biggest attractions of Cambridge IGCSE is its international orientation.
The qualification is designed for an international student population and is offered in schools around the world. Cambridge also states that its qualifications are recognised by universities and employers internationally.
However, recognition is only one part of the picture.
Many parents are also attracted to the skills-based nature of the curriculum. Students are expected to understand concepts rather than simply memorise information. Depending on the subject, assessment may involve written examinations, practical work, oral components, coursework, or other forms of assessment.
This encourages students to develop skills that can continue to benefit them beyond their secondary school years.
